2019年XBRL国际会议参会嘉宾介绍

2019年XBRL国际会议将于2019年10月21日-10月24日在中国上海召开。本届大会由XBRL国际组织主办,上海财经大学会计学院承办,会议的主题为:Data Amplified·the future of business reporting ,会议将汇聚来自XBRL国际组织成员的相关政府部门、监管机构、学术研究机构、全球知名企业、大数据分析领域的领军人物和行业领袖,共同探讨大数据、人工智能开启全新环境下,XBRL国际商业报告标准的未来。


嘉宾介绍

J. Robert Brown, Jr. was appointed as a Board Member of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board by the Securities and Exchange Commission in December 2017, and sworn in on February 1, 2018. As of January 2019, Board Member Brown is also the chair of IFIAR’s Investor and Other Stakeholders Working Group.

Before joining the PCAOB, Board Member Brown was the Lawrence W. Treece Professor of Corporate Governance and Director of the Corporate and Commercial Law Program at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. He taught corporate, securities and administrative law. During his time at the University, he authored numerous publications, including a textbook on corporate governance and a treatise on corporate disclosure. Several of his articles have been cited by the U.S. Supreme Court, with one appearing in Basic v. Levinson, a leading case defining materiality under the federal securities laws.

Board Member Brown also advised a number of foreign governments on governance and other legal reform topics, served as an arbitrator for FINRA, drafted, as the lead author, a number of amicus briefs filed in the Supreme Court that addressed topics under the federal securities laws, and served as the Secretary to the SEC’s Investor Advisory Committee. He currently serves on the board of directors of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless.

Board Member Brown has a BA from the College of William & Mary, a JD from the University of Maryland Law School, and a PhD in Government from Georgetown University. After receiving his JD degree, he clerked for the Honorable Frank M. Johnson, Jr., US Court of Appeals, 5th/11th Circuit.


Alessandro Bonara is Head of Division in the Directorate General Statistics at the European Central Bank and he is in charge of the environment for the collection and production of supervisory and macroeconomics statistics. He is also involved in big data, data integration and machine learning activities for structured data.

Alessandro has developed his expertise in the field of Central Banking and Systems for Statistics at the European Monetary Institute first and later at the European Central Bank since its establishment. He took part to various projects aimed at building the statistical application (IT) infrastructure for the ECB. He also worked in the field of Market Infrastructure and Payments.

He holds a degree in computer Science and a post-graduate Master in Business Administration.


For Mark V Systems Limited, contributor to, and manager of Arelle open source XBRL project; contract support for integration, deployment and databases for XBRL technology.

For XBRL.org, chairperson of Formula and Rendering Working Groups, vice chair Base Specification Working Group, member of Standards Board 2009-2014, and developer of specifications, test cases, and tutorials on XBRL Abstract Model, Formula, Dimensions, Rendering and Versioning.

An L.A. native, his MS and BS are from UCLA.


Juan Alberto, who currently is Head of Section in charge of the Supervisory Banking Data system, the Statistical Data Warehouse and the external publication and visualisation tools of the ECB Statistics Directorate, has been working for 21 years in the field of statistics, business intelligence, data management, data dissemination and data exchange standards including XBRL and SDMX.

During this period he held senior expert and managerial positions in the private sector, Banco de España and the European Central Bank.


Marc Joffe chairs the XBRL US State and Local Government Disclosure Modernization Working Group and is a Senior Policy Analyst at Reason Foundation where he researches state and local pensions and other fiscal issues. His research on the financial industry and subsovereign finance has been published by the Mercatus Center at George Mason University, the California Debt and Investment Advisory Commission and the Haas Institute at UC Berkeley. Before focusing on public policy, Marc held a number of technology management roles in the financial industry. He first became interested in XBRL while working as an Information Technology manager at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in 2001. After that, he worked on bank loan valuation and structured finance modeling tools at Moody’s Analytics.


Leslie F. Seidman is an independent corporate director with over 30 years of experience in the accounting profession. Ms. Seidman serves as a member of the board of directors and chair of the audit committees of General Electric (GE:NYSE) and Moody’s Corporation (MCO: NYSE). She is also an advisor to idaciti, Inc., a cloud-based analytical platform for structured financial data. She recently completed two terms as a Public Governor for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
Ms. Seidman is the immediate past chairman of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), where she also served as a member of the board from 2003-2013. As FASB chairman, Ms. Seidman collaborated with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, and other domestic and international regulators to improve financial reporting in the capital markets. During her tenure, the FASB assumed responsibility for maintaining the XBRL U.S. GAAP taxonomy, which is now fully integrated with the standard-setting process.


Robert M. Tarola is President of Right Advisory LLC, a consulting firm formed in 2008 which offers a unique perspective to address business and professional challenges of operating executives, governance bodies and finance professionals. Mr. Tarola has extensive experience as a public company director, public company CFO and public company auditor. He is a US CPA & CGMA and a member of the PCAOB Investor Advisory Group. He has followed XBRL development and implementation since 2005 as a member of the AICPA Assurance Executive Committee and as a participant CFO in the US SEC’s voluntary filing pilot project. Mr. Tarola helped to implement XBRL as a director and audit committee member for two public companies and, finally, he encouraged the PCAOB to utilize XBRL as a way to connect auditors with data used by financial analysts.


John Turner is the CEO of XBRL International, the standards development organisation behind XBRL, the business reporting standard. XBRL International works to enhance transparency and accountability in business performance by developing and promoting its freely licensed global data exchange specifications in the public interest.

Mr Turner has previously served as the CEO of CoreFiling, a leading XBRL vendor, led the XBRL activities of KPMG International LLP and ran the first regulatory project to utilise XBRL for data collection, leading the data collection and analysis reengineering efforts at APRA, the Australian financial regulator. He is a passionate advocate for the pragmatic use of standards to enhance reporting and with the staff of XBRL International works with the consortium’s members and leading regulators around the world to this end.

Turner holds BA/LLB from the University of Queensland, where in addition to a law degree he majored in computer science and government. Now based in Oxford in the UK, he works in his current role with regulators, policy makers, standards setters, financial institutions and the accounting profession from around the world to improve business reporting to the benefit of a wide range of users.


张为国教授,前国际会计准则委员会委员,1982年毕业于上海财经学院,获经济学学士学位,1985年获上海财经学院经济学硕士学位,1989年获上海财经大学经济学博士学位。1986—1987年间赴澳大利亚新南威尔士大学进修,并在德勤会计师事务所实习。1987年被评为讲师,1988年被破格评为副教授,1992年又被破格评为教授。1993年被选拔为会计学博士生导师。1991年起任上海财经大学会计学系副主任、主任。1996年9月至1997年1月任香港城市大学访问学者。1997年1月调任中国证监会首席会计师,并继续在上海财经大学指导博士生。2000年起在清华大学经济管理学院任博士生导师。2007-2017年担任国际会计准则委员会委员,为任此职的第一位中国人,第二位亚洲人。曾兼任财政部会计准则委员会成员、中国注册会计师协会常务理事、中国会计学会常务理事、中国评估协会常务理事。研究成果曾数十次获各类各级奖励。曾获霍英东教育基金会“全国高等院校优秀青年教师奖”“上海市优秀青年教师奖”“全国优秀教师”等荣誉,2017年荣获上海财经大学首届杰出校友奖。
