He is blind. She is a mute.

Blind

She was born without the ability to see.

He has lost the ability to see due to some tragedy in the past.

She is unfortunately suffering from blindness.

视障 Visually Impaired

He is unfortunately visually impaired.

It's very difficult for her to see things clearly.

He is living with visual impairment.

Deaf

She can't hear things like we do.

He does not have the ability to hear.

Her ears cannot sense any sound.

听障 Hearing Impaired

It's very challenging for him to hear things clearly.

She is physically challenged in hearing.

He is troubled with hearing impairment.

失语 Mute

Unfortunately, speaking is not what she can take for granted as we do.

For him, mutism is not something to talk about but something to overcome everyday.

Language Handicaped

She is suffering from language disorders.

Forming words is an activity which he has to put in effort to do.

She faces serious trouble in accessing her linguistic ablility.

Colorblind

His eyes don't have the ability to distinguish all colors.

She cannot tell the difference between red and green.

Yellow and blue look identical to him.

Her life is constantly being challenged by colorblindness.

Handicaped

He has lost his left arm in an accident./She has lost her legs due to some tragedy.

He is a wheelchair user.

She is suffering from mobility disability.

智障 Mentally Disable

He is troubled with mental handicap.

Her brain has not developed like ours have.

Learning Disable

He faces more cognitive challenges than many people do.

Learning requires more effort from her.

He has to deal with some cognitive disorder.

Short

She is of short stature.

He is a person of relatively short stature.
