惠特尼 · 休斯顿演唱的众多歌曲没人不喜欢。好不夸张地说，最受听众喜爱的《I Will Always Love You》（我永远爱你）传遍了世界。尽管本期分享的这首《All at Once》（一夜之间）没有《我永远爱你》那么流行，但从作曲、作词到惠特尼的演唱，都算得上一首一流的经典英文歌曲，而且是创作于三十六年前的一九八五年，说起来是一首老歌，但听上去却丝毫没有“老”的感觉。有人说这首歌甚至比《我永远爱你》还要好听。这个难讲，萝卜白菜各有所爱。不过《一夜之间》在起伏上和处理的细腻程度上不如前者。这首歌的歌词也写得比较特别，刻画了很多情感上的细节，比如“I started counting teardrops and at least a million fell——我开始数颗颗眼泪 至少掉下一百万滴”，“I looked around and found that you were with another love in someone else's arms ——环顾四周 我发现你已经另有所爱倒在了别人怀里”。
